Singapore Flyer

Singapore Flyer is a giant observation wheel that I was really looking forward to on my trip to Singapore. Online sources shows that it is best to ride it during sunset and that was our plan. But that wasn't exactly easy. The line boarding Singapore Flyer is kinda long and getting up takes time.

Each capsule holds 28 people on board so it is not just you or your peeps that will be in it. It would have been great to see the city view from the top but with all these people standing on the capsule walls it is quite impossible and we ended up looking at their backs instead.

Picture taking is not that good when it is already dark. Capsule movement is very slow, so you won't even feel that it is moving.

In the end we just waited for the ride (about 30 minutes) to finish. We also noticed that some people book one whole capsule for dinner date or maybe wedding proposal which is really sweet.

Here are some photos:

To go there:
1. Ride MRT - Promenade Station
2. 5 minute walk to Exit A
3. Look for blue pedestrian signs to Singapore Flyer

If you ever get lost, just look for the giant observation wheel and walk towards it. =)
